Excellent advice, and absolutely true if a homeowner wants to avoid foreclosure.  Even if you know you've already paid,  pay again, then sue taking your proof to a court of law.  When you prevail, the Judge will give you back your litigation costs, as long as you are careful to keep receipts & itemize the expenses.
